Who wants the SJ Tac back in production?

+100,000 on that! I would definitely buy one! The closest thing I have is the SW Desert Jack and that is my favorite.

I am surprised.

If I wanted an SJTac, I could get one.

I would understand people asking for the SFNO because everyone wants one and the prices are high, but an SJTac is easy to find and not too expensive (except for an LE).

What we need is for Busse to produce a knife that isn't available at any price, the ASH-1 CG.

I have not seen that many SJ TACs around. Tell me if you see one around. Also what is the thickness of the SJ TAC?

I was one of those that didn't like the TAC handles... at first. The more I used it, the more I liked it. I never warmed up to the EU grips even though I thought they looked great!

I have a SJTAC and a BATAC, both in SS and a BATAC with MAG handles. The mag handles are the key. I do not like the standard TAC handles, i love the Mag TAC handles. My favorite.

I did not like the TAC handles when I first felt them. But they have grown on me quite a bit after my hands got use to them. I still think that the middle hump should be removed for a more comfy feel. The original SJ feels fairly comfy to me. I just prefer the wider blade of the SJTAC because it has a higher potential for better geometry.

Wouldn't it be great if Jerry would give us a Bladeforums' Choice run once a year.

We could all vote for our favorite out-of-production blades and Jerry could produce the top two selections for 30 days (or "2 weeks," whichever is longer).

Then we could order FSH's, SFNO's, Mud/Hell Razors, etc. until our bank accounts were empty and our homes were heavily mortgaged.

Is this a great idea, or what!!!!

Give that man a cigar. We have a winner of an idea. I really like Z51's thinking on this. Pete

It's kinda what happened with out "voting" for the 2007 Anniversary model. Ergo - Anniversary Steel Heart One.

I like the idea!

I think that flying the handle to lessen the back palm swell would help a little for those who find it to much... I loved the difference it made on the active duty, and it might be the same on the tac handles.

Nobody said it had to be an original idea. ;)

I guess the best part of the idea is that it continues on an annual basis.

That way we could each eventually fill in the holes in our collections.

on the next round, I wouldn't mind seeing some variations on it. possibly a flat ground version, possibly a jack hammer style corregated convex... maybe even a sf handle variations?
