Now I have to ask, I know there are at least a few connoisseurs around here... Do you prefer your beaver right side up or upside down???
I'm thinkin upside down is a nice change of pace! ;)

OK it's on to the Schatts!
1st up is a 1st release HJ of Charlie's that went to Australia and got Oupa-fied...the covers, I have been told are dried and stabilized race horse dung! Then set in acrylic.
But I'm thinkin... it could be donkey, mule or even jackass poop we got here, only Dirk knows for sure! That is IF he actually witnessed the raw handle material being born! IMG_1659.jpg Thank You, Rick!!!
This makes 2 HJ's that received an Oupa-fication in my stable. A 1st release and a 3rd! And with this addition I now have 2 pocketknives with a Horse shoe shield !:cool:

Next is a pretty clean little Dr. knife with some nice bone!

And the last for this post... Another find by Charlie... a Hawkbill

Dave my friend you may have to top up the HJ Thread with these absolute stunners Sir.

They are SUCH a magnificent find - well done to you and Charlie-I managed to acquire a beautiful HJ from one of our good guys here a nice antique salesman sample HJ - hopefully here in a couple of weeks - but Oh man that Schrade is a stunner- interesting Punch, the Bone on those Robesons is just beautiful - most often when you get an Old Robeson like that- even if the blade is almost non-existent the knife looks just superb because of the Stunning Bone!

Nice S&M's- love that Whittler.

LOVE seeing all this bounty here folks- well done on the show- you might as well live it up and grab what you can now - because if I ever get there one year - I will have near sold to house to buy and buy :D:D

Beautiful pictures of your new purchases Dave. Enjoy seeing them. I am quitely buying up the new #38 GEC and SFO collections.

The only noise is the sound of the keyboard withdrawing money from my bank account....lol. That was a strange post huh?

Now I have to ask, I know there are at least a few connoisseurs around here... Do you prefer your beaver right side up or upside down???
I'm thinkin upside down is a nice change of pace! ;)

The Beavertails have always been upside down! (further proof http://greateasterncutlery.net/blog/collect-by-series/beaver-tail/) I wonder why this is?? So it's just the OKCA knife that is right side up.:D

Your OKCA knife is awesome Dave - were they all as dark as yours? Very nice indeed!

I assume they were all the same color Brad! I saw Barry's and it was the same color.
