Who/What Where is your Sebenza source?

I do know that, but their shipping was $25 and up for "everywhere else" in canada . I can wait a few extra days to get my knife for 20 bucks less. Unless I misread the order form on the TNK website?

True, Neil uses UPS within Canada and usually it is very good delivery. My rule of thumb is if its available in Canada, why tempt Customs or the Postal service with a $400 + knife? $25 is a small investment considering the problems with the border. There are collectors who have had totally legal (Chris Reeve and Strider) knives confiscated for no valid reason. But if you are comfortable potentially losing your investment to save a couple of bucks, go for it.

I just got my plain regular Sebbie from NGK, arrived today....Shipping was free.

To tell you the truth I didn't know that TNK was Canadian in the first place until after I ordered from knivesshipfree and then checked the contact info on TNK earlier today (I guess the name shoulda told me somethin eh). I guess the US pricing threw me off. Oh well lesson learned I spose!

gpknives sometimes has a good selection. For variety, it's hard to beat Plaza, New Graham, True North and Only Fine Knives. Also, occasionally, Knife Art will have some nice examples.

not that there is anything wrong with ordering from www.knivesshipfree.com....$5 shipping is not bad for Canada.

Thanks for giving us a try--we are new to the whole CRK line!

$5 shipping for Canada is awesome! I order knives from a place that is one province over and they charge $11 for shipping. That's why I buy from you if you have what I'm looking for if I need to buy from the US.

I've purchased both from TNK and CRK direct numerous times.

Great service from both. TNK is faster though :)

TNK is top rate. New Graham, too, though I've never bought a CRK from them. I've had great CRK transactions with Matt D and SuperD, plus, I've picked up some excellent used Sebbies on the various sale / trade forums.

Newgraham shipped mine for free, which is a welcome discount when buying such an expensive knife. They are a top notch dealer.

Is there a reason why you guys don't get your knives directly from CRK? Last I checked you don't save any money buying from a dealer.

I don't get mine from CRK because I prefer to handle a knife before I buy it, if at all possible. Both of my Sebenzas (and probably most, if not all, future CRK knives) were purchased at gpknives. They are my local store and I like being able to make sure that there aren't any issues with any knife I buy. While this is quite rare with the Sebenza, it does happen and is an issue for some other manufacturers. I also like to support my local guy when I can.

That said, when they don't have or stock an item that I want, I like to deal with NGK. I have used Plaza once before with excellent service as well as arizonacustomknives. While I have never bought a CRK from any of these dealers, I see no reason why their stellar service wouldn't continue with a different product.

Let’s see if we can find the right forum …

Recently purchased my first Sebenza from knivesshipfree.com

Ordered on a Monday, which was a holiday, and it was in my grubby mitts by Friday.
