Who will report for us?

Others have said that they were going, too, and would report. Not only that, but Ethan has a new laptop, too, and may report in (hey, it could happen... but there are a lot of distractions at Blade:D).

Remember that it's early in the day yet. Reports could come flooding in at any time.;)

yeah, i'm just having an anticipation overload...what, with the apple developer's conference starting this monday and all...expecting a brand new iphone to be released and who knows what else. i'm not a gear whore but i'm tired of my 2-yr old iphone's lack of multi-tasking ability, battery life, and well i'm a programmer so i have to have the latest development environment.

releasing info at this point won't affect current sales since the tweeners are not a new version of an existing product. if anything, it'll affect competitors' sales and i would imagine you'd want that to occur as soon as possible...oh well.

i don't carry beckers anymore on hikes since i prefer other blades more suitable for it. the last spot is for edc and if i go for another brand then my beckers (which i like dearly) will be relegated as backups, or worse :( typical apple secrecy and add-in bladeshow lack of updates and i'm on edge :o

Two things I don't give up on under any circumstances: Apple and Becker.

Here I am sitting at my Mac, waiting for word on the Tweeners. I'm as anxious as anyone to see some pics, and read some reports, but there's nothing we can do about it at the moment.

Actually, I'm going to go to bed, and hope that I wake up to great reports, with lots of pictures. Well, one step at a time actually — at my age I'm just hoping to wake up, then I'll look for pictures.:D

i was having dinner with my gf earlier tonight and in the middle of it i just had to check bladeforums on my iphone for a possible update on the tweeners. she asked "work emergency?"...i replied "bladeforums". i think that was as close as i've ever gotten to actually losing my life unexpectedly :eek:

No. Actually, I'm more than twice that. When I was 31 I had a penchant for good Scotch — so much so, that I decided to give it up entirely. Nowadays it's two cups of coffee in the morning, and plain ol' water the rest of the time.

Still waiting on updates from Blade. I can't believe that not a single word, not a single picture, has been posted on the Becker forum about Becker at Blade. I just hope that someone makes up for the dearth of information soon.
 
2 & 1/2 days. And still no GD pictures or even a word of what new toys we can expect. This thread is getting me sooo angry...

I'm more than a little disappointed myself, Spooky. I'm just hoping that someone makes up for it with some really stellar reporting and pics.

and on another thread there, mistwalker was apparently informed by ethan that the "brat" will most likely be called the "eskabar". a few other people have confirmed (but no pics, surprise surprise) that the "eskabar" was on a tag attached to it on the display booth. take this with a grain of salt since i'm not even anywhere near ga.

i can't believe i got these info first on another forum instead of here...sigh. maybe someone detonated an emp device there and the gazillion cameras/phones were rendered useless.
 
Well, this year’s Blade show closed at 3 p.m. Eastern time, 12 p.m. Pacific time. Unless my math is really, really faulty, that was six hours ago.

I only bring this up because not a single word, not a single picture, has been posted on the Becker forum yet. I wonder why that is? I realize that it may take some folks quite awhile to get home, and they may be a little tired: I understand that.

But Blade was a three day event, and not once — NOT ONCE — did anyone post so much as a blurry cell phone picture.

I’m a little disappointed, to tell the truth.

There are a lot of us who, for whatever reason, just couldn’t go to the Blade show. We’re out here waiting for news on the Becker lineup, and we’d sure like to see something.

If you have anything, please post it for us.

i wanted to go, being 5000 miles away is cost prohibited for my current financial condition. some news and pics would be nice (so i could drool).

the new iPhone sure is purty. course, i'm viewing this as having a 3 year old one ;)

should be QUITE amusing when it comes out.

knives are pretty too. pictures should come FLOWING in any day now. maybe. guys? pictures! dunno if Ethan will have any for us, i'll check.

Well, that's wonderful, and all that, but I have to be honest and say that — so far — I liked the name Brat best.

Not that anyone cares what I like. I just thought I would mention it.
