Broke out the good stuff tonight - 18yo Glenmorangie. Already can hardly fgigure out which buttons to press to post thiss. Life is good!

I haven't visited this part of the shelf in a while. I was drinking rye a lot a few years ago, but found that I liked smoky peaty Scotches a lot more than I remembered and started favoring Islay Scotches.

But tonight it's Van Winkle Family Reserve Rye.



Really good stuff. I wish I could get another bottle, but it seems to have gotten a lot harder to find.

Question: Is the willet family reserve rye worth the $80? I do love their bourbon... never had the rye.

Just shared a bit of Pappy 23 with my son in law after dinner. Very nice! Almost gone now😩
ordered all the boys each of the latest Busse offerings for Christmas. Ofcourse they will have to wait for actual delivery. I dont think they will mind.
