As for me, Julio 1942 tonight.

It's the most important meal of the day!



Coffee, OJ, and a nice relatively inexpensive Sauternes.
With bacon and a goat cheese and spinach omelette.

Bacon and Sauternes is possibly the best food-wine pairing ever.
 
Compass Box, The Peat Monster.

This is a blend of malts that came pretty highly recommended. It's supposed to made up mainly of Islay malts, including
Laphroaig and Caol Ila, along with a bit of Ledaig from the Isle of Mull and distillery; and some Speyside from Ardmore.

I do not find it sufficiently monsterous. It's good, but I can't see buying it over Laphroaig or Ledaig.
 
Had a few drinks with some friends to celebrate my birthday. Nothing to hardcore just some Bud Lights with a few friends from high school that happened to be at the bar.
