I'll take the one on the left, please. Thank you!!! :D ;)

When I bought that a few years ago, it was maybe $50 a bottle, and they had at least a dozen bottles on the shelf. Now I think it's listed at about $90 by places that don't have any to sell, and north of a thousand by those that do. Just crazy.

Yeah, I paid $60 for my bottle of PVW Rye a few years back...that same store has one in their showcase - I think it was marked at $1300.

Back on track. It's summer, which, in my world, means it's tequila season. It's 83 degrees ("feels like 86"), with a forecast high in the low 90s; and I don't have to go back to work tonight. If I don't have a bottle of Milagro anejo left in the cabinet, I'm heading out to get one...and spending the next few hours lounging in/by the pool with it.

Two weeks without a post? What gives HOGS???

Yeah, crazy doesn't even cover it. :barf: That's the market though. :foot:

Bought some of this JW Rye finished Scotch earlier this week when I got to CA. Normally $45, had a $15 rebate at Costco, so I thought why not for $30? It's a bit harsh straight from the bottle, but with a bit of water and some time to breathe, it's pretty darn good for $30.
