Who's Drinkin'?????

What do you drink when your one month old daughter is kicking your ass?

Coffee, likely. I have a very high end machine, and it makes all the difference--it's been serving me since just after my first kid was born... these days my fourth kid is nearly 6 months--this machine's coffee/ espresso still does the trick (but I drink a lot of it). The machine is a Jura-Capresso Impressa Z5.

Of course, there's always Laphroaig... 10 year, Cask Strength.

Hang in there buddy,

Aye, but then roasting your own beans really makes all the difference... ;)

And yes, the Laphroaig.

I was too sleep deprived to remember much of anything during the first few months after my twins were born. Good thing everybody was snapping lots of pics and clips for us, lol.

And here is a pic, libations for the gods...

A little Port (1983 Dow's), a little cigar (Padrón Cortico), and a little Busse (a no longer entirely unused Sage and Green Linen Game Warden).

And inside, the Texans are beating the Cardinals on TV.
So what if it doesn't count?
It's a nice way bad to spend a rainy Sunday afternoon.

Not even 9:30am here yet and I am ready for a shot. Thank goodness I have a bottle of Patron on my desk. Tequila, the breakfast of champions.

Been sneaking shots since about noon. At 5:00 I will start drinking for real. Hope everyone has a wonderful and safe weekend.

Sipping some Smugglers Notch Vodka right now, on ice. I'm usually not much of a vodka drinker. But I like this stuff. This and Tito's vodka is the only ones I can actually say I like.

At a cottage ...... Will be having my first taste of Knob creek bourbon later today..... Never was much of a whisky, scotch, bourbon type of guy. Drink it every week now. Picked up Knob creek because of you guys..... Nice to have someone to blame for my drinking problem ;)

Started with boiller makers, using Jameson. Had a couple of old fashioned, earlier this summer. I'm hooked, big time!!!

It's out of Vermont. I found it at one of their tasting rooms between Burlington and Stowe. I would imagine it is available around New England; however, I can't find it here further south, in MD. Wish I could.

Same vacation trip where I found the Smugglers Notch, my wife discovered "Glutenberg" beer, brewed in Montreal. She loves it. She can't have regular beer, as she has celiac disease. The real gluten problem. I've seen her hard down for two days from inadvertently getting cross-contamination from a restaurant kitchen. So when she found Glutenberg, we bought all of it we could find to bring home. Similar to the Smugglers Notch, it isn't available down here.

Have you tried Luksosova? That and Tito's were my faves.

No, but I'll look for it. Thanks for the heads-up!
