Who's got an BRKT Aurora? Show 'em off!

Wow do they have any pics of one like that?

Here is the stock photo from over at DLT Trading of a Gunny with a drop/spear point. I prefer the Gunny rampless, but this is still awfully nice looking.

Were all the Auroras skeletonized or just the current run? Does anyone know what it looks like under the handle?
Is the Liton Bror also skeletonized?

Here's a pic of mine - orange G10 scales:

It is my favorite bushcraft style knife. The handle is very comfortable for my hands and the blade shape works good.

Just snapped a few quick pics of mine. Had one before but thought the handle was a little too big. I always regretted selling it so I bought another one and now really appreciate it. Great knife!

So is the Aurora scandi ground or is there a microbevel at the edge? Doesn't appear to have much of a belly, but that point screams "Use me!"

I'm not a scandi purest but I would consider it a scandi grind. It's convexed though like all Barkies. No micro bevel. The Liten Bror would probably be consider more of a scandi grind.

I've only had mine for a couple of weeks and havent had a chance to put it to any real chores yet. But I like the way it feels in hand.

My Aurora is in the post from KSF as I type. Can't wait for it to arrive! It'll look something like this:

I had this Aurora recurve in my collection, but gifted it last Xmas without ever using it.

Obviously I can't comment on what it was like as a user, but, I imagine it was every bit as good as any of the BRKT's I do use.

I guess the recurve qualifies as a "variant".
