Who's next?

The moderators on this site have a very tough job, and have my full support in this and all of their actions. The facts remain that when in doubt, we tend to err on the side of caution and give members the benefit of the doubt. I've gone to great lengths to spell out the rules for this site in the FAQ. There are rules in all of the For Sale forums, and the For Sale forums are prominently posted as such.

If someone deliberately chooses not to figure out how this site works before posting, that is their fault. If a friendly neighborhood moderator warns them about their actions, they should heed those warnings and take notice. Puffing themselves up and insulting the mod's is exactly the wrong action because at that point, the good will is eliminated and we'll just shitcan you right there.

Life is too short to deal with people who have entitlement issues, and this site doesn't pay for itself, by itself. There's no reason why we should let someone make money off of here when others pay extremely reasonable membership fees to sell. The KnifeMaker's membership is the best deal on the web for this stuff.
 
Sometimes trolls even win an arguement by getting banned.

I mean, if you never get a straight answer and your thread gets closed just as you get banned, some people may suddenly give you the benefit of the doubt.

Only thing I feel he did wrong was to "call BS" instead of calling it "gross exaggerations".

The way he was treated by a lynch mob that didn't have anything to contribute to the question at hand, and the way he was gagged reminded me a lot of this other forum..........
 
LOL! Here's a cool trick for you -- go to advanced search and put a username in the username field and nothing in the keywords field, and check the box for show results as posts. That shows you all that user's posts, with the most recent at the top of the list.

Try that with LittlePrick and read his posts and see if you still feel he was gagged. All those posts are still there for you to read; nothing has been censored.
