Who's watching "Apocalypse Man?"

The other thing I didn't like that I forgot to mention. Did anyone else feel like it was a commercial for Oalkey products?

The bag and gloves were obvious but when he got done sloshing around in the sewer he jumped out with a pair of clean, dry Oakley desert colored boots  .

Now is the next ep in the series going to be him on the road surviving and moving to the next place? That would be cool. Do some Bug out stuff then some wilderness or whatever is next.

...And if people are so important, How come he never met any one else, even as a 'staged' learning experience?

looks like a very intresting show. Makes you think about ideas. One good point he makes is that you do want to find other people. I dont realy agree with the idea of the lone wolf. Good show for what it is.

Didn't get to see the whole thing. I don't quite understand, if I want to find other people why am I hiding behind every bush and wall I see?????

Enough with the Ninja running and jumping crap already.

I feel like I wasted an hour of my life watching this show, learned nothing, but the deserted locations were creepy.

He wasted a lot of time and energy getting very little of value.

I don't think he really put that way too heavy car battery into his rucksack. Then somehow, he just magically hooked it up to the generator.

Also, scrounging around for diesel fuel, putting about two ounces at a time into the can would have taken forever.

Then bringing one small can back to this huge generator, probably would have been enough just to prime it and run it for five minutes.

Too many stupid things to critique.

Oh, something else.....never once mentioned the importance of a gun. So even EOTWAWKI has become politically correct.

Brizbane,

I thought the media already proved that we're more likely to harm ourselves with a firearm than to protect ourselves?

I watch all of these shows, and like them. I do not care if its Rick, Bear, Les, or some new guy. I think they are fun and I can normally learn something. They sure beat 99% of whats on the boob tube. (But thats just because I cant watch the porno channels with kids in the house)

ex Force Recon marine. Played himself in the HBO series "Generation Kill"

Wish i would have saw the show

Just curious...do some of y'all realize it's a tv show? For entertainment purposes?

The sad part about this show is thats what parts of detroit really look like. No need to make any sets when you have a place like this. In my younger days my friends and I used to wander around in those abandoned buildings downtown. It was a lot of fun but more dangerous than we thought it was. And why the hell did he climb down that elevator shaft? I just kept thinking what if the door on the bottom wont open? No way you could climb back out.

That kind of stunt gets the ratings for Bear so I think you'll be seeing that sort of thing more often.

The show was kinda dopey...but you're right...it sure beats 99% of the other stuff out there.

In that type of scenanio nothing good (people or supplies) would be left in a city. Real survivors would be in the country. I would be doing everything I could to get away from the city not taking dumb risks to get in. The show is entertaining but stupid just like Man against Wild, who gave himself an enema in the new episode (I laughed my ass off).

This comes on at noon out here. I may just get to watch most of it before people come over to watch football.

Watching him make diesel made me think of something I read elsewhere. Someone wrote that you can use gas in a diesel engine by adding a quart of oil to so many gallons of gas. Does anybody know if this is indeed workable??
