Okay, I know I live in the urban world but I have a thing for bushcraft. One day I hope to relocate to somewhere with clean air and lots of wildlife and vegetation. I love to learn as many survival/bushcraft skills as possible. And then practice the ones I can in my backyard. One of my sources of meditation.
I get a lot of my info. from reading but I also enjoy the various programs that pop up now and again. The three I am most familiar with are Ray Mears, Les Stroud, and Bear Grylls.
Which one is your favorite of the three and why. Also vote in the attached poll.
My favorite is Ray Mears. I just really like the way he teaches bushcraft, history, culture, etc... all in one. Not that the other two do not but I just like the way Mears presents it.
Second is Les. I like how he is on his own, doing it all by himself, and doesn't always make it.
Anyway, that's just this city HOG'S take on it.
What do you guys think?
