Why can't Spyderco make a knife that is as good as the Kershaw Leek and in...

I have had the knives for over two weeks before I made my first post at BladeForums and I genuinly thought that Spyderco knives simply were that crappy.

And I showed them a little video of the knives not even being able to cut some standard paper and got my money back in a jiffy.

Ugh....

If I had a choice between inserting a bamboo shoot in my thumb nail or reading this entire thread from beginning to end, I'd choose the bamboo.

I know op is trolling but I'd like to share my thoughts. The Leek was my gateway drug... er, I mean knife. After seeing my buddies Leek I went straight to Menards and bought my own. After a couple of months I found my way to my first Delica. I still have my Leek but typically carry one of my three Spydies.

I can't believe all the, seemingly mature, intelligent people that got baited into this thread... Everyone should just click here
That was amazing. I've never seen a link connected to the ignore function before, stuff like that should have been standard decades ago.

it's a PITA.

Also one of the reasons most members get so worked up when others post links to fakes and say they are buying fakes because they want to "try out the model" on the cheap.

It is like buying a Pontiac Fiero and then saying all Ferrari's are garbage based on that experience, because the Fiero looks like a Ferrari 308GTB.

Hello Tdhurl1103,

I never could get my head around that Terzoula designed double bevel. Do you find yourself using it? Is it actually better at certain tasks? Hope you read this, thanks.

I like it a lot. Serves me well in the task I use it. I will freely admit here, I've never whittled wood with it or used it for any type of "outdoor" tasks, if you know what I mean. It's basically served in every other capacity though. Cardboard, tape, fruit (A LOT) rope and string. It really works well for those tasks. Also, It's the right blade size for me and slender in the pocket. It's a knife that does not appeal to most, being its a tanto AND double beveled, but I've got no issues with it. The edge at the transition point between bevels was a bit shallow which caused it to be dull at that point in the edge, but I've since corrected that with my Sharpmaker. Cuts like a maniac now.

More Spydie shots........cause I can't bring myself to feed the troll!
And Spydie shots are always good!!
