Why can't Spyderco make a knife that is as good as the Kershaw Leek and in...

Holy 8 pages of nonsense.

This thread is lacking pictures, here are my favourite spydercos'

Just a thought, if unfounded statements are going to be made, at least let's make one we all delusionally want. I propose we ask Sal to have a rollback day. Buy a Spyderco Worker C01 at its release price in 1981? :). Don't ask yet, too much beer, I need to take a "leek." Be right back for the sale.

It's just too bad that you can't criticize dead objects in this day and age without people getting their panties in a twist.

I am a bit embarrassed for you.
Aren't you the one who "got your panties in a twist" here by starting all of these nonsense threads with baseless accusations and now admitting it was your own lack of knowledge that got you into your very own panty twisted situation? No fault of Spydercos if you choose to pay your own money to a pawn shop on Amazon or ebay.

Glad you may be picking up the Paramilitary 2. Good luck with that, it's a great knife. Prepare for a bit of a learning curve in its operation.

I agree, pictures are a necessity here, LOL

No Leeks here though. Don't have one.....I always balk at the purchase....too many other bettter ones out there for me.

Hey MA.....here's a tip.......Every knife company...in the world has copied Spyderco at some point. Even your beloved Kershaw.

Hello Tdhurl1103,

I never could get my head around that Terzoula designed double bevel. Do you find yourself using it? Is it actually better at certain tasks? Hope you read this, thanks.

Way late here, but I will say spyderco can't make a singular knife better than the leek because they make several that fit that bill IMO.

I love the overall look of the leek but they sit way high in pocket for such a small knife and I also hate the liner lock on mine. Disengages with the slightest torque in the right direction.

A few less expensive spydies I favor over the leek:
Byrd Robin
Byrd Cara cara
Dragonfly
Delica.

So you are telling me that a knife that Spyderco sells for $110 MSRP can be sold by BladeHQ for $55 and not be a counterfit knife?
You do know that the fastest way to kill your business is to screw over your dealers. Sal is no idiot. If he sold his knives direct for as much, or less than his dealers could, they would jump ship. Then he would only be able to move a fraction of the products he did before. Competent Manufacturers always sell for more direct than their dealers do.

I just finished reading this whole thread and then noticed a little bit of my brain had run out of my ears onto the floor. Sweet Jeebuz......what the heck?

The best way to remedy that is to shove a few Chris reeves in your ear canals.
