Why cut corners on the sheath?

OMG...I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!!! Where is that ignore button??

EDIT TO ADD: Apparently, you have to open a persons profile and then on the left hand side it gives an option to add them to your ignore list. I had to do it. If I saw him say the same thing for the one hundreth time my eyeballs were going to start bleeding.

The whole sheath/price dilemma will never be settled.
It's the Ford/Chevy debate of the knife world.
Well, maybe it's like the Strider/Sebenza debate of the folder world.
No. Hang on. Maybe it's more like a butter/margarine debate in the biscuit world.

What were we talking about?

What I wanna know is why, when I go to Bojangles for one of their excellent biscuits, pay a entire dollar plus tax for it, do they bag it with that honey-flavored margarine crap? I end up throwing it away and using my own damn butter and sour wood honey. I'm so pissed that as soon as I find the biscuit forum I'm starting a thread about my anger and perplexity at such corporate malfeasance....

Speaking of sheaths, what sources of after-market kydex or leather sheaths would you guys recommend? Thanks!

Think about it this way. The sheath for my BK9 was a throw-away. 100% unusable because the lining inside was 2" too short which means when the knife was inserted all the way in the tip instantly cut through and stuck out the bottom. The cool thing was I knew that I was buying the package for the knife only anyway and the sheath was tossed 5 minutes after it arrived. Look at how Swamp Rat knives are sold. Solid knives that don't even come with a sheath. They leave it up to the buyer to decide what they want. If you think of Beckers in the same way then all is good. Focus on the knife, customize it, and buy a custom sheath of choice to take it to the next level.

I just got my BK2 yesterday, its well cool... and heavy but a brute of a work horse.

Is it normal to struggle to remove it from the sheath?
