Why do I need an 0200?

Thinking about an 0200 PE but, I've got an 0560 as well as a couple of 0350. Is there something the 0200 brings to the table that the others don't or should I just look at it as "it's a ZT and a great price so just do it"?

Your current line up is superior to the 0200, but if its calling your name then Id get it.

The 0200 is my favorite in the lineup. I've used it as backup to a machete in the jungle and used it to help ease the process of getting on a plane without a passport. It is a good knife. I need to buy another one. If they made one with orange scales I'd pay double.

You need a 0550. I have em both and although the 0200 is a badass blade, the easy of carry and straight edge of the 0550 makes it a better choice.

0200 and 0560 are the ones that call to me. 0200 is less expensive but heavier, 0560 seems to have a little bit less point.

Thanks for the replies. The one I'm considering is LNIB and the seller is only asking a C note for it so I guess I better just go for it.

I paid about that and I could not be happier about it, a great knife for that price. Who can say no to that beast for that price. The ZT 0200 If you have a large empty pocket there is no better way to fill it!

I like the 0200 more then any other in the ZT lineup. Feels much sturdier then the 0560. Kinda like a pickup truck vs. a sports car type thing.

well, i'd like some enlightenment in this regard. but first, a proper intro. i'm a blade-with-a-hole guy and this is my first post in a zt thread. i'm filipino; a runt even in my own country. but i like em big and brutish. with spydeys i prefer the military, preferably in full titanium furniture (the g-10 version just feels too flimsy.) i don't care for the smaller pm2. and i edc a 4-inch endura.

well, the 200 IS the zt that calls out to me. it looks to be the most practical: big symmetrical handles owing to a liner lock, a four-inch blade, and 154cm steel. now that's a jungle folder if there ever was one. the 7.5 ounce weight isn't so daunting. i'm more worried about the bulk during clipped carry. i might add that i spent my young years carrying 7.2-ounce buck 110's and flipping six-inch balisongs in street corners (don't worry, never had trouble with the law.) with titanium framelocks, i like only pure ti, no half-half designs. i'm just curious with a couple things:

1. how does the 200 handle feel when you have small hands?
2. how hard is it to sharpen the recurve? i'm slowly learning to freehand blades but i never tried recurves.
3. hows the performance 154cm during hard use?
4. how does it feel during clipped carry? i prefer them clipped to the waistband in the city (spydeys are really at home in the cities,) or in a breast pocket or pouch when in rough country.

thanks gents.

Thanks to all for the replies. Decided to go for it and the knife arrived today and I'm very happy. While it won't knock my 0560 off it's pedestal it really doesn't have to. Feels good, functions great, solid, sharp, centered, clean, etc. A very nice knife and for the money I couldn't see where I could go wrong with the deal. Already in my pocket.

1. My hands aren't big either. The handle is very comfortable.
2. Not sure yet. Just stropped mine so far.
3 . The performance seems good but I don't know what your definition of hard use is. From what I have read its is supposed to be similar to D2 but more stainless. Maybe not quite as tough but gets a sharper edge.
4. I keep mine clipped in my side leg pocket. I wear Riggs work Ranger pants. It fits in their very nicely and securely. I don't feel it in their at all.

Hope this helped somewhat.

I EDC an 0200.

The best way I have found to sharpen her is with Lansky crock sticks.
Mine has seen some decent hard use and doesn't show it.

I find the handle profile to be much more comfortable on the 0200 & 0400, compared to the 30X and 350.
