Why do "LBK" people look down on people who like larger knives?

I don't look down on anybody because of the knife that they carry, but I've found that for me a Spyderco Techno or a Curtiss Nano is just easier to carry and work with. I wear mostly lighter clothes and bigger knives put holes in the pockets. I get better leverage when I use "little big knives" and they just work better for me.

That being said I don't think I'll be giving up my Kershaw Spec Bump or Curtiss F3 real soon.:)

Ahhhh, anyone needing more than 2 inches of blade is a wuss. Why I remember the time I was in the Redwood National forest, and the park service needed a dead redwood cut down. Luckily I was there with my Victorinox bantam. A little carful batoning and it was done!

And then there was the time I was the sole survivor of a bush place crash in Alaska, and crawled up on the shore of the Yukon River with just the clothes on my back and the Case peanut in my pocket. Lucky I got the A frame chalet built before winter set in. Okay, I admit that a 4 inch blade may have been a help when I was working on the second floor loft, but the peanut did it! When the spring thaw came I made a dugout canoe to float down to the nearest settlement.
