why do you own combat knives?

According to the Zombie Survival Guide there is a very good chance that zombies will be attracted to loud noises. So you may not want to be firing that off, while defending your family, it may cause more danger in the near future. lol.

The whole pirates vs. ninjas scenario is really overrated.

Everyone knows that the ninjas would destroy the pirates easily.

Fact: You'll never see a ninja coming, and if you do, you are seconds away from death.

Besides, pirates just sit around drunk all day

I kill boxes, zip ties, fire hoses and the odd heaving line every now and then................
I like them more than the opinels most of the guys I work with use.

I hope you're attempting to be funny here. If not, I have only this to say to you: Accusing people of being wannabe "rambos and ninjas" because they like combat knives is pretty judgemental. Most people who buy them, buy them because they like them, or because their design works well for utility purposes.:thumbdn:

Although I'm a big fan of CS knives, I find Lynn Thompson slashing away at slabs of meat to be partially humorous and partially disgusting. I also find his henchmen cutting up cut-resistant gloves on a wood block to be pointless and deceptive. That said, other parts of his videos are quite good and adequately show the strength and reliability of their knives. I wish other knife companies would show the results of their tests on their knives.
