Why does no one talk about the Lil Native?

If they made a lighter linerless FRN version, do you think it would be a better choice?

For my wants, I think so, and for me it's mostly about FRN/FRCP instead of G-10.

I like the feel of G-10 fine in-hand, but don't like the pocket shredding when using the clip, and it's a bit heavy to carry loose in the pocket.

So for me FRN/FRCP would be good either with liners or without. With liners to carry with the clip, or without liners to carry loose in the pocket. I might even be OK with G-10 without liners, as that might be light enough to carry loose in the pocket.

The point is that (for me) in G-10 with liners as it is now, it's too grippy to carry with the clip and too heavy to carry loose in the pocket. So either remedy the grippiness by using FRN/FRCP, or remedy the weight by going linerless. Or both, of course; maybe even a full-on Salt version in LC200N.

All that said though, I do see the value in the current G-10 version and could still end up getting one. I also realized I could also get some aftermarket scales to lower the grippiness, but that would add quite a bit to the total cost.

Thanks,
Jason

Not for me. But mostly because the place where the lil native excells is in being rugged. Without the liners, you loose a lot.

I still carry my Lil Native, but just not as often as lighter, slicicer knives.
