Why does Victorinox play hard to get with the perfect SAK?

I never really understood why people have such a problem with cellidor. Yes, nylon and alox are tougher, but drop an alox and you get dents. At least a cellidor handle can be replaced cheaply if you wish so. And with some basic care, a cellidor handle can last for decades.

I been carrying an using my Tinker for 30+ years. Scales a little scruffed up, but still going strong.
