Haha, I know the feeling. I took an entire week off for my knee, I timed how much time I got to myself that week... 6 hours of an entire week.. lol. Never enough time :(

Hey Heads. Missed ya.

I had to go into sphincter tightening mode for a while. Had to cancel cable/internet/phone. Our lease expired and our landlord gave us 30 days to buy our house or he was putting it on the market and showing it. We had previously discussed buying it with him and he said no hurry we can do it next spring when he has more time. 2 months later he drops the 30 day thing on us. But on the up side we did it. We own our house now and I have a huge garage waiting for a workshop. :thumbup:

Great to be back. Now I have to do something about this blue name. :)

Welcome back! Having a permanent roof over your head (with workshop space, no less!) is a very nice thing, even if you have to go through some $#!+ to get there. A mortgage is not always a bad thing. Too bad about the landlord thing, but at least he ended up selling it to you.....I tried a similar thing a couple decades ago and kinda got jerked around for a while before being told, "no." Luckily, I wasn't thinking it was gonna happen, and went looking elsewhere. I had a small inheritance burning a hole in my pocket - small enough where I really could only put a downpayment on cheap. Took several months to find a place cheap enough to afford, living in temporary digs the whole time I was looking. I'd say you're pretty lucky - first and foremost because you don't have to move. Moving ​SUCKS!
