why doesnt anybody like gerber??????

I never really got the point of edc'ing a spear point type of blade like that. It never really seemed all the useful to me, unless you are a soldier and want some combat type of knife or something like that. But to each his own.
 
My first knife was a Gerber Paraframe (before I learned more about knives). I liked it when I got it, but as I got better knives, I learned to hate the low performance grind, bad ergos, sloppy fit and finish, and poorly thought through design. SRM's cost less and seem to be built better, and you can get quality American made knives for the price of many Gerbers.
 
It was a great knife, I cant tell you what hell i put it through. Heck, I even opened it and used it under water once..

You need to do a few things before you will be able to fully appreciate this site....

1. Peruse the forum and get a feel of how it functions. Take a look at what other people are posting and the responses they get.

2. Learn how to be original. Your topic has been discussed several times and it's getting to be a bit boring.

3. Don't annoy the mods with threads that are borderline trolling.
