Why doesn't GEC have a Manufacturers Forum?

Quite frankly, if it wasn't for this forum I wouldn't know a darn thing about GEC. I may not have ever heard of them either. I can appreciate the effort that companies like Buck put into being a part of the forum but I have also seen the Buck factory, how packed their employee parking lot is and I am guessing that their profit margin is significantly bigger than GEC. As far as Case goes, I was of the understanding there was a Case collectors forum or something like that? I may be wrong, but if I'm not it would make more sense for them to have a presence there.

Only my 2 cents....which is worth about 1/4 cent today;)
 
Just a guess, but I’d say it’s because they have a group on facebook with 1600 members, and they’re also on Instagram with 11,900 followers.

It takes a commitment. It's business. IF GEC felt that they would benefit from their own sub forum, they'd have it. I think they're generally pretty busy and if the forum is not responsive to the participants, then people are unhappy. GEC gets a lot of benefit from the various posted threads in the Traditional Sub-Forum.
