Why I Don't Carry An Expensive Knife

Life is short. Carry the knife you like be it expensive or not so expensive.

It's pretty amazing the things I've seen people drive off with on top of their cars over the years. Gas caps, laptops, briefcases, you name it. You are not alone.

Wow! What do you do, stake them out??! :D

I can't say I even remember ever seeing that kind of thing happen. :(
I'd enjoy the entertainment, if I did. More's the pity.

I never bought a knife till I was 45. I was always finding knives and outdoor equipment. The first knife I found was a Schrade Old Timer 150 large by the Boise river when I was 12 years old (still use it when camping) Last one was a Kershaw Black Horse in Kodiak AK while hunting. And numorus slippies over the years. I don't think I ever lost a knife. BTW I was 45 when I started collecting.

I once backed out of the driveway with one of my shields on the roof of my car. Boy did it ever surprise me when THAT fell down over the windshield! :D

i got a good one, i carried my 1660CKTST leek every day until about two weeks ago when my mini-grip took over, about a week after i started carrying the leek i was hanging out in the parking lot of my friends apartment leaning against my pals car letting the smell of the sizzling teriyaki burgers Waft over me when one of my friends asked to borrow my knife to slice open a package of hot dogs so i walked toward him and reached into my pocket for the leek to notice to my horror that my right pocket was bare, panicking i looked around for my beloved knife then my eyes caught it clipped securely to the door of my friends car! theres my tale ladies and gents

Cheers!
