Tactical collectors, tactical users, user collectors, I think that covers it.

I fall under the "users that collect tactically" (as in without the wife knowing). :D

She: "Is that new knife?"

You: "New? Haven't you seen this one before? It's been a favorite of mine for years. I suppose it's still in new condition." (Pat. App.)

:D :D :D

LOL! Emphasis on the word "YEARS." "Honestly, I've had this for years, I'm just taking her out for a cleaning" (as I try to hide the postal package it came in).

4 Ranges, just to let you know, I dont think you are a bad guy, I was a little steamed after reading th other thread. I see nothing wrong with not useing knives, I guess we just have different opinions on how they should perform. No hard feelings.

hey, no problemo bro'. We're all brothers in the brotherhood of steel. It's all good, we all like our knives. We have different opinions, sure, but I'm cool with that. :)

Yup, we all like our knives, and I sure do love mine. :)

I have a simple solution. If you have a mind to buy / own a Randall, go ahead and buy one. If you don't, then don't buy one. If you don't feel like waiting 3-4 years, there are plenty of each and every model available on the secondary market. ( with each and every concievable option ) It only took me 1 week to locate a very rare Randall. One that I think will become one of the most desireable Randalls of all time. It was introduced in 2000, and hasn't been made for almost two years, and it will never be made again because it was a Randall Knife Society edition. Its called the #4 fighting knife ( 8" blade )
