Why is everyone selling their BM 755

Seems to me that most of the reviews I've read have expressed sentiments along the lines of "this thing is really nice, but as thick as a brick and overall pretty obtuse." So, I'd bet that most people who are selling probably got it into their hands and then realized that a stubby folding prybar isn't exactly what they want.

This is my same thoughts.

This is what happens when people buy knives without actually handling them first.

And the BM755 isn't the only anticipated framelock folder this year that some people are buying online only to get rid off later.

I doubt the ZT Hinderer will suffer the same fate though.

People always have their new knives up for sale.
First, they can charge more than retail while the knife gradually hits the market.
And second, some knife enthusiasts enjoy the selling/trading game and always have something coming in or going out.
I grabbed my 755 MPR (#73 of 1000) at a local dealer right when it came out and it's been worth every penny.
Yea, it's a fat folder, but that's what makes it unique. "Built like a tank" as everyone claims.
Mine also has a little vertical blade-play, but nothing significant. M390 blade, TiT Frame lock, and the Sibert design all combine to make this knife a must buy.

Well, 15+ months of nearly EDC - literally, only a few days missed - and I still love my 755 MPR. No problem with the clip - it's still in the box, where it went the day it came home. I've sharpened it - white files on the Spyderco Sharpmaker only. The pivot screw was slightly loose - a bit tighter and everything is still centered and with no play. The M390 is amazing - takes and keeps a great edge. The knife isn't for everyone - it is bulky - but 'so am I'! I bought from a B&M store - but I can read - and I knew what was coming as the MPR - and I couldn't wait. I was and remain quite pleased. My all time favorite BM is a 630 Skirmish, and I have a 'backup' - the MPR is a close second. Hmmm, it needs a backup... anyone know where I can find another one - reasonably priced?

Had one sold it a week or two ago so I could buy a sage 1 from someone. I've seen a lot of sages up for sale lately as well and everyone usually raves about them. Mpr was a great knife just not for me, same as the sage I imagine for others.
