Why is there no Cold Steel threads?

I see them as kind of the Ruger of the knife world. There stuff isn't the best, but some interesting designs and you usually don't get ripped off too bad for what you get.

Also, crazy over the top marketing by people of marginal backgrounds is fairly normal in the knife business, so LT probably isn't that much of a scoundrel in that regard.

Ruger makes a great gun! I still haven t bought a CS knife and I think its bc of all the negative comments i hear about them.

Not ragging on Ruger. I have a few of their guns I'm happy with. My sp101 was probably the worst of the bunch with its sharp edges and HEAVY/GRITTY trigger pull from the factory, but after a trip to Cylinder and Slide for trigger job, hammer bob, bead blast, and edge rounding, it's a smooth and rugged little gun I'm totally fine with.

I could care less about there marketing strategies. If the knife in question is built with quality and at a great value, I am all for it. The few CS products that I own are an outstanding value IMO, and a stronger, tougher knife cannot be found in there price range (American Lawman, Recon 1, Spartan). YMMV and good luck

When the ropes come for you, I hope you have someone nearby to save you.

Attack from rolled up bamboo mats is what really keeps me up at night. Walking down a dark alley, suddenly a rolled up bamboo mat strikes.

Quickly I react with my back harnessed kukri and take my best shot...the mat still stands defiant. Thanks to Cold Steel I can take another 34 swipes ensuring that I am the one who emerges from the darkness...victorious.

I once had a situation with a standing rib roast on a transit bus, but it's still in the courts so I cannot comment.

Following the Cold Steel training material I have been religiously following a high fat diet and sedentary lifestyle. Contrary to what I used to believe, cardio fitness is not something one needs for lethal self defense. Thanks Cold Steel! **whoo, out of breath***

Or when you absolutely have to save yourself by chopping up a concrete block.

Oops. Wrong company. Nevermind.

I don't doubt the quality of some of their products but I just wont support such a company with business practices like CS. It's giving the whole knife community a bad name.
