Has the Bandicoot LM been produced yet? I'm still new to SRKW (4-07), so I'm playing catch up on what has and has not been produced. I know I want one as soon as they come out if they have not. I missed the HRLM, RMD etc. I got the M-6, SW's, and Chopweiler. Bought from a couple BF members, a Rat Mastiff, and a Ratweiler. It's the smaller ones between SW and M-6 that elude me.

I don't think the bandicoot has made an appearance yet. Sounds like you are working on a nice collection.:thumbup:

+1, Now that would be the ticket. I would love to see a chopper Rat Daddy, and Rat Mastiff in the HOGFSH range, or even as a minimum .270", HHFSH range. M-7 or M-9 .270". We need some meat on them there bones. Fat Rats, Fat Rats, Fat Rats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Bandi LM has not been released. I think it will be a while, but Eric would know better. He won't talk though.

Hey Gravel, is there a new Rat Daddy in the works? I thought the new line only included the Chopweiler and ChopMastiff. I sure would like a FAT (Full Assault Thickness) Rat Daddy. It would be a bear to lug around, but trees would fall just from the sight of it. Bring it on.
 
I started with BEGGING for 1 Rat Trap.......I now have a few more....these things multiple like........well....Rats!

Huh? Wha? Ummmm...picked up a Crash Rat; traded a custom for a Ratweiler...does the old school ratweiler have a 10" blade? This thing is as big as my Dogfather. I thought it was going to be about SH-E sized. Still like it, tho. Really sharpened up nicely.

Sounds to me like you picked up an old school RatMastiff, not a RatWeiler. The RatMastiffs look identical, but have a 9.5 in blade, as opposed to the
7.5" blade of the Weiler. The only bigger Rat is the Rat Daddy sporting a massive 10.5" blade w/ a full height flat grind. Nice pickup. By the way.

WHERE ARE THE PICS?
 
If it's a Rat Daddy with an Armorall Dundee rig I'm going to be pissed at the seller:mad:. Called dibsies on that one a while ago:p.

Speaking of RDs anyone out there own an RDLE. I would love to see some pics other than the one on the Shack.
 
9.5 " blade with penetrator tip. The sheath is the same one sold for the Dogfather. RatMastiff is my guess, then.
No pics...this old Mac is not compatible with anything :( Building a new PC :) I want to post pics so I can put up a pic of my OD ratchet on the pics only thread.

PHEEEW! That's a relief. Thought my RD was long gone. Great catch on the Mastiff. I don't own one, but they look great and have a killer rep. Try to get you hands on a new Ratweiler Chopper. If you are looking for a Steel Heart alternative, this is the one. It's BAD-A$$ for sure. I know there are some on the exchange right now and more to come at the Rat Store soon.
 
I check this forum only rarely after someone mentions Swamp Rat in other areas. Each time I check the Swamp Rat site and see the same thing--a five year old message talking about how great the knives are, and no knives, no pics of knives, no reviews, no pages to see, no store, no nothing. Maybe I am missing something but to me it seems like this is a company without products. Maybe they are "all that" and they no sooner produce a few knives than they are sold out but it seems odd that even their better known sister companies seem to actually have STOCK on occassion. If they have some sort of store function then they have hidden it very cleverly on their site as I cannot find it after looking several times to see what the fuss is about. Good position to be in I guess, your product is in such demand you can hide how to buy it--or even find out more about it.

Not looking to flame or troll here but given the dearth of products it's hardly surprising enthusiasm in the forum would wane. Really I am wondering what on earth is the fuss for this company about, I can only imagine there are hundreds of potential customers who look at the site see nothing and just cross Swamp Rat of their list.
