Nope. Don't think I have anything that flat. They either have an acute or obtuse angle not flat. The knives I have that are close are drop points so have some rocker in the blade. In a wharncliffe I think it is more of an issue. You also lose power in your cut as you no longer are working around a fulcrum. I could be wrong. It's been 10 years since I took physics for engineers and software and systems engineers don't draw a lot of free body diagrams 
? Most knives are like that or even more acute. Not many share the angle of the NW. Do you scrape your knuckles with your other knives?![]()
