I have handled two of his knives, and I still keep one of them. In my opinion, they are great tools. Due to the design, they all have 1/4 inch thick spine. Because of the thickness, they are not the best cutter. The handle is quite squared, and I rounded the handle. After I rounded the handle and resharpened the edge, it became one of my favorite knives. The width and the thickness make it a very comfortable knife. The knife is now pretty sharp compare to many other 1/4 thick knives, thanks to the hollow grind and the 2 inch wide blade. The hollow grind now act like fuller which reduce friction when cutting. The food don't stick on the blade as easy as my Dpx hest 6's flat grind. (great knife as well) The heat treat is great. I haven't face any chipping or rolling after I lower the edge angle.
The design gives it multi purpose. I can use it like a cleaver, a glass breaker, a hatchet, a saw, a hammer, a pry bar, and you don't need to worry about breaking it. Due to the integral guard design, I never worry about slipping my hand and the guard is not on the way when I use the knife on a cutting board. If anyone wanna buy one of his knives. I recommend you buy the 1.5 inch or 2 inch wide blade. The reason why I sold another knife is due to the thick thickness behind the edge and it has 1 inch wide, 1/4 thick blade. I prefer the large version M4 Bounty Hunter which is the one I keep or the large M4 Wolverine.
