Why so few custom lockback knives

I'm so pleased to see you enjoying that knife, Dudley :)
It's the nicest lockback I've ever owned, and I'm glad it found such a great new home.

I live on the "other" forum mostly but am old enough that a lockback was pretty much the only locking alternative that I recall as a kid in the 70s. So while my collection is basically "modern" tactical in nature, my mind's eye very much appreciates traditional knives like slip joints and lockbacks.

I guess that is why this appealed to me and I pulled the trigger. Old and new. Not for everyone I am sure but I am excited to get it.

I just recently obtained 3 additional lockback folders and our collection is split between them and liner locks and then a couple of slipjoints.

Great score!

I've picked up two Pena lockback's this summer and really enjoy them. Wish more makers made them. The one handed open and close option is really nice.

It just came today and it is unreal how nice this knife is. Thank you so much!

NICE!! I saw the clip sell recently maybe to you and at a good price I think! Pretty cool that they have the same shields.

Yes, the Lanny's was purchased from the classifieds. Great price! I'm pumped to have a matching set.
