Yup, Carney your blade is *the* sweetest i've seen - and it looks like it will flat out cut!!

Ultimately, i'd prefer a little less belly at the upsweep to the point (more gradual) and a little "rocker" in the main straight part, but WOW!!! what a blade. I luv the finger-groove and anatomically shaped grip - really speaks about how much chopping strength that blade has. One day after ministry maybe...

Choppers are the most fun kind of knife to use, is why we love them. Chopping stuff up is what I like to do most when I am out in the woods, or just in my own back yard. (Which are really the same) Choppers can do most if not all of what a little knife can, and a whole lot of what they can't.

To lazy to find pics at the moment.

Hey William.m I would like to know who the maker of the second knife in picture twelve is. If you don't mind that is. Thanks

Teaser pic of "Sabertooth". Been reworking my RD9 into a modern style bowie(why I don't know. Just something I wanted to do). Lot of sanding left to do then black & orange "tigerstripe" G10 slabs go on. Hopefully she'll be done in the next few weeks. I feel the need to bite into some wood with her.

I think the "why" part of this thread, for me, is that i really enjoy using a big knife.

Maybe it's the raw dangerous-ness of it, maybe it's seeing what kind of destruction i can manage, maybe my chopper is the primary tool which helps me have mastery over nature. Could be any of those - maybe bits of all of 'em?

It is undeniable though that i freakin' LOVE using my trailmaster!!! Hedonism - pure hedonism!!!

For a quick second, I thought the tape was actually the blade shape. Jagged. Then I realized, it's an AMAZING rework of the RD-9. That, looks, fantastic.

Thanks for your comments BrO!

Being the inquisitive type that I am, how do you withdraw that blade without giving yourself a close shave at the same time???

Grab it with my right hand I pull it straight out. Normally wear it on my pac or belt.
I don't always carry a large chopper this way, but when I do it's my G-Zilla!:D

Thank you sir. I started this project about a year ago, but took a break over the summer so I could play with it. Taking me forever cuz I'm doing it all by hand.
