I have all the orders I can handle at the moment so I will not be taking any more orders for a while. Once I do start taking orders again after the first of the year the base price will go up to $100. Thanks for supporting Wilder Forge

This is the pre-order page for my neck knives.

These are now being made from 3/32” 52100 steel heat treated in my digital oven to a target hardness of around 58/59. Before anyone complains that they are too thin, check out THIS THREAD to see what these little guys can do.

Here's how this works:
1. You pick a blade design from the following pictures:

2. You chose a blade finish.
You can choose between a Stonewash, Scotchbrite, Acid Etch, or Acid Wash (Acid etched then stonewashed). These will all come with flared stainless tubes unless you request otherwise. See further in the thread for pictures

3. You chose the handle materials of G10 and Canvas Micarta. Please not that since Canvas Micarta costs a bit more and is much harder to work with I will have to charge an extra $5 for it.
I currently have and can get the following color combinations.

4. These will all come with a black kydex sheath but can upgrade to any color of sheath for an extra $20.

5. These generally come with a 3” blade. Any other options will add to the cost, for example:
Any modifications to the blade or handle shape will cost an extra minimum of $15
Mosaic pins will cost $10 each
Thump jimping cost $15
If you want a certain wood or exotic material then you have the option of buying it and shipping it to me or I can purchase it myself. For example, stabilized woods cost around $30+. I can order them and charge the extra amount to you.

6. This is a preorder, so no money is due yet until the knives are finished. I work in batches and am currently on my 8th batch. Batches usually take about a month and a half, depending on how many are in the batch.
I will post the final pictures in this thread and you will be contacted by email with payment info and a link back to this thread to view and approve your pictures. I prefer Paypal but will accept money orders as well. I won't accept any payment up front. If you do send me payment up front, you will go to the end of the list :)

7. Send all your information, including your real name via email to wilderforge (at) gmail.com

The total price will be the base price of $100 + optional extras + $5 US Shipping + 3% PayPal fees.

Feel free to look through this thread to see all of my completed neck knives so far.

Thanks for looking.

 Umm, #3 looks (to me) just like #6. What is the difference?
I like them both, but I'm a big fan of sheepsfoot in any case.

Hi Jason,

I would like to order one of the 5/6 with your next batch.

Copper patina, black handle and green liner - just like the one from the first batch. It is a sweet looking knife.

Thank you!
Sean

You're correct, I meant to say 3 and 7.
Sorry 'bout that.
Reading more closely, I see that 7 is unfinished and has the potential for a number of finishes.
I just bought lovely hawkbill from Jason and I'm thinking of a good reason to justify another knife.

In any case, I think Jason will find there are a lot of sheepsfoot fans out there.
Honestly, for EDC in an office environment, sheepsfoot blade is more practical than a pointy tip.

do you mean 3 and 7 ? the difference is the finishing i think.

Howdy Jason,
I'll gladly take a #5/6 of the new run with copper patina, jade g10 and thin toxic green liners, orange kydex please if thats an option. Thank you for a great deal.
