Wilder Forge Neck Knives

What a FANTASTIC job Jason! My son is going to love that Tanto, and I'm going to love mine I'm sure... Payment on the way.

The Tanto design with a bit less tip angle would be ideal for a carpenter/cabinet maker...maybe leave a bit of the tang exposed for tapping...and a simple taco sheath for a back pocket carry.

The copper patina was requested but I wasn't able to duplicate the process and gave up. The blade has a very cool copper speckled finish on it and my wife loves it. Let me know if you don't like it and I'll sell it to someone else. By the way, I found the secret ingredient to get the full copper plating after I finished this one up, so if you wan to wait for the next batch in January, I can give what you want.

The knife looks great. Payment sent via paypal.

I got everyone's payment. I'll ship these out on Monday except for Brummie's which will be shipped on Wednesday by request.

I'll begin the third batch very soon and might be able to finish them by Christmas but can't guarantee that they'll be done until the first of the year.

I'll update the master list for the third batch tomorrow.

Thanks everyone for the business

If it's not too late, I'd like to sign up for a drop point with the finger choil, scotchbrite, burl with thin orange liners. Next year is fine.

Gordon, I've got you on the list.

Hagartyman, I'll be sure to let you know when it is ready. I'll start a new thread to show the pics as I get them done. I doubt I'll finish them all at the same time like I did on this batch. Instead, I'll Heat Treat them all together and then finish them one at a time and post them as I have them finished.

A few are reporting that they have received their knives from this batch. Please let me know if there are any problems and remember to leave feadback if you are satisfied.

Alright guys, I ordered some new supplies yesterday for this next run of blades. I've already HT'd two drop point w/finger choil but will wait for the next shipment of steel before I cut out more. These next blades will be made out of 7/64 O1 rather than 3/32. So they will be a hair thicker.

I also ordered some red liner material and black G10. With this next batch I'll automatically use black G10 rather than the Black canvas micarta unless you specifically say you want the canvas micarta. This is because the G10 is easier to work with.

I also got some jigged horn scales. I haven't seen them yet so don't know how they'll look, but I thought that it might be nice to offer a few neck knives with stag handles.

Can I get my sheepsfoot stone washed with toxic green liners and black g-10 please? Thanks.

Knives look great. Can I order a drop point with finger choil in stonewash with red liners and black G10?

Thanks
Mark
