well I would say that current distinction belongs to the NMFBM and B11, depending on who you talk to, so now we add a couple inches and thin it a bit this is going to be a beastly chopper. Sure the MOAB is much lager but with a heavy blade like that and as thick as it is my guess 1311= new CHAMP.... can't wait  I wanted to add poll to this but don't see it

Hmmm, while I disagree with your current champs...:D

I can't wait to put her up against my 1311 when it gets here

the 1311 is going to be a monster for sure. as far as champs I don't know but it's going to be a serious contender :)

yeah I did forget about the Zilla, my bad on that and I did actually own one but didn't swing it. Again very heavy blade and is probably an awesome chopper but my guess is will tire you out a lot faster than the 1311

Something tells me that the recent Hawks are the TRUE king of the Bussekin choppers. But if you're talking about king of the chopper knives, I think the Fairy Dogmother has a very good chance!

I ordered a few, so I am as excited as the rest of you. Champ though...no way. Maybe if it were satin with G10 or canvas micarta. :)

G10 or Micarta will definitely make it prettier but the Res-C is comfy when it comes to extended use.

Back in the day this configuration was "craved" for by many ... I would put it at a serious long term edge holding knife for machete use ... light swings when razor sharp at thick vegitation is where it would dominate IMO ... but for an all rounder which can cope with tree chopping I think my NTTKZ is going to be the best option .... each NTTKZ seems individual ... mine is quite lght compared to others ... not as light as the 1311 ... but it hits hard ... my next stage down has been a Basic 9 ... but if I lived in a tropical climate the 1311 would appeal to me greatly as a machete role "knife". Destined to be one of the top Bussekin "users" for sure .... and a dream configuration for many

My thinking is that it will be more along the lines of a longer BWM. The BWM is the least effective chopper of the mistress' because of it's thinner stock. It does excel at lighter vegetation, just not so much with hard woods. I just wonder how much the longer blade in the 1311 will help in chopping due to the inertia involved.

One thing for sure, I can't wait to test it out!

For now... I'm going with the NMFBM.

The Bushwhacker will be tough to beat

I've been living under a rock, are these for sale now? I don't see them on either of the online stores.. email only?

You have to be a member on scrapyard forums to buy one and they are for sale in their store. I do not know if you can become a member after the fact and order one but worth a shot

Someone isn't reading too carefully. It's over at the Scrapyard.

ETA: Looks like SilverBullets beat me to the punch.

moab >moad

I do think it is the closest we will get to a bussekin machette, and as its already been said I think itll do well with vegetation/ green saplings but for hard wood I'll take something with 1/4"+ thickness.

I agree with Drbarnes.

How dare you heathens doubt the MOAB!!!!

BLASPHEMERS!!!!!!!

The 1311 will certainly be useful when the zombies show up! I can't wait to get her in hand...
