Selling my Wilson Combat LARGE Sebenza. There are a few small marks near the blade edge and point. Shown in the photos. The grinds are clear. A couple small marks on the top frame rail. I do not consider these marks to be from use. Rather from handling. Inside frame is A 15 on both sides. No bead or kit. Just a nice example of the WC Sebenza.
$1300.00 shipped all in CONUS.

In my opinion used blade would show marks from slicing. Would show wear from cutting on the grind surfaces. This has tiny edge rubs of some sort. Marks limited to the edges of the point and knife edge are more like handling and storage not from being used.

Timestamp must be in the same image as the knife.

Condition must be clearly disclosed.

Modded how? The handles look like who owned it for years rubbed it in hand whike playing with it. Please give info on a modded handle? I have a video on Facebook Chris Reeve Buy Sell Trade. I was not able to find that a vid could be uploaded on BF.

Looking with a 10x loupe, the flats are without micro scratches. Straight or random. The handkes have edge wear from fiddling in hand with thumb and fingers. The years of being handled. NOT modded. Geeze…..pinch zoom this extreme closeup with my S22 ultra. All of the handle flat areas are uniform smooth.

Appreciate you taking detailed pics but the comments are right, this is 100% NOT a factory finish. Send the pics to CRK if you want confirmation. The blade profile also looks like it has been sharpened.

Ok. More than happy to reply with more close up pics. I would like a proper untouch blade profile example from anybody. Years of handling is what I believe. Offers welcome.

Here is another handle close up. To be honest I don’t have another to compare. I can say it does not look bad or shabby. If it was rubbed with a fine abrasive then handled alot to make it turn out ‘warm and fuzzy’, then that is what it is , warm and fuzzy……

Here's my large Seb 21 blade with several years of carry/use and showing less wear.

Then I can get mine Spa'd and a blade reinstalled if included in a spa? IDK, but thankYou for the last two rounds of pics. Good how the unmolested blade/handles survive.
How much does a spa cost? Would CR knives sell a blade, include with spa, or make one to rejuvenate this 'knife with character'?

I would recommend emailing CRK and waiting for them to get back to you. Email them photos of the blade and handles and ask them if they would reblast the handles. As I mentioned the handles definitely look to have been rubbed down with an abrasive so it’s very possible they might not service it and void the warranty but they take things on a case by case basis. Replacement blades can be ordered but there’s a wait time before they’re ready and then you have to send the knife in for the blade to be fitted and wait again a few weeks. SPA is a free service to reblast the handles.

Here’s my user WC CRK for reference as well.

I’m sure it was the scotchbrite mod. A lot of us did it years back. It gives the handles a nice worn look but it does void the CRK warranty. You can get a blade replacement but it’s expensive and all this will take a long time as CRK is backed up in service turn around time. Just lower the price significantly as you’re basically selling a user. Still a fine knife but with the wear on the blade, both ti handles scotchbrited and no birth card or box your looking at a user price point.

I sent them a Zaan and the previous owner hit the handle with Scotch Brite and Penny took care of a reblast no problem. This was 5 months ago when the turnaround time was 5 weeks, today 3 months.
