Very nice. I generally don't like hollow handle knives, or even pockets on my sheaths. I prefer to carry a small, flat survival package in a pocket. This is the first hollow handle knife that has ever appealed to me. Something about the proportions, finish, and general " look" just seem right. Your handle attachment system seems very strong and well done also. The only suggestion I would make would be to add a Kydex sheath option for the reasons other posters have already mentioned. Great job on very nice looking, practical knife. I am sure they will sell very well indeed.
Thank you RI_Shooter. That was my idea with this one. I'm not going to focus on just the hollow handle knives forever, but I wanted to get my idea of a practical, working knife with a hollow handle out for the folks that wanted something a little different, but like hollow handle knives. So far, this one seems to have met with favorable response, so that works out well for everyone. I agree with you, Ronnie, and the others that have mentioned Kydex as a sheath option. Once I knock out another batch or two, I will focus on getting geared up for some kydex sheaths, and this will shave some weight, and give more options for carry, as well. Thank you for the compliments.
why not a leather /kydex combo? Like a kydex lined leather sheath?
I will be exploring a number of different options and combinations, as soon as I buy some Kydex supplies and start playing around with it. I will be sure to post pics.
Thank you,
