Hey Allen, I am the one that Stacy help a while back by making a weight assembly. I have since passed it on to another knifemaker after I picked up some weights from eBay for $80.
What Stacy build for me was a pvc tube filled with steel shot with a hook on the top cap. On the hook were some small copper plates (approx .5”x.75x.030”) which using test blocks and a lot of trial and error, I was able to sand a bit off to get it near perfect for my machine.
