Every year I tell myself that I will lose weight, eat better, and try my damndest to keep myself around as long as I can for the sake of my wife and daughters. Though I have tried I was never successful in reaching my goal. This year I intend to surpass my expectations. Joyce can check out my abs at the next Blade Show. ;)

I also resolve to do more for my fellow man. I have seen people who have suffered and I have done nothing. I have seen pain in people's eyes and I have not offered a consoling word. In my line of work you see things that would make the average person cry. I have become desensitized to other peoples pain and suffering and I am not happy about it. Don't get me wrong, I still care but the mentalitly is that "it isn't my family, my car, my home, my life". It is sad really. I am in a position to help people, which I do, and yet I can't help but be glad it is not me in that situation. I am not a religious person by any means, nor to I ever plan to be, but I feel that I can help people in other ways. So this year I plan on getting my EMT instructor certificate so I can help people help others. I have alot of knowledge in the field and it would seem a waste of my brain not to use what I know in a positive way.

My resolution is to study harder in school or else the next thing I know I'm going to be doing brake jobs at a TA for the rest of my life :( :barf:

To be more consistent with my training and do more cardio!

Also: Buy at least two of every balisong Spyderco puts out!

Thanks for the contest Spyderco.

I have 3 resolutions for the new year:

1. Hit the gym harder and more often. Practice martial arts more often.
2. Finish my college degree.
3. Get a job at this local pharmaceutical company that I've been scouting out.

My 2005 resolution (which I made some time in October) is to take the knife making class and some metal working classes at the community college and learn to make knives.

Thanks for the contest.

1. I will lose 40 pounds.
2. I will get a knife fabricated with ZDP - 189 steel.
3. I will create a memory each day.
