Winner...And Still Heavyweight Champion...The Venerable Buck 110

More info please. Who built it, when, where etc.
The blade was made by Leroy Remer. I had to furnish the material and farm out the heat treat. He said he is not interested in making any more of them. The handle came from a special run of take apart Aluminum knives for the 2018 Buck Collectors Club Inc. reunion in Post Falls. They made about 125 copies with Desert Ironwood scales and also sold optional scales in Olive Drab Micarta, natural Linen Micarta, black G-10, and white Ivoroid.ACF96A53-178F-4824-AE1F-CC8929CFAC18.png

Wow. Thanks for the quick response. I’d say that’s kinda the pentacle of a 110 build.

This is all the Buck knives I have left.
From left to right:-1988FG, 1987 Ol' Faithful, 4 Dot, 1992 Double Dash, 1987 #2, 2022, 2006 Tigerstripe, 486Minty, 486 user.
All Plain Janes, no super steels or exotic inlay materials, just good honest workhorses.

I've always admired the 110, but the weight of them has been something I wasn't a fan of. Finally added a lt to my accumulation. Looking forward to putting it through the paces, should make for a fine work knife.
