I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. If it's even have as good as mine then you're doing pretty good. Great food, plenty of whiskey and some wood cutting /splitting thrown in. Oh and the family stuff. Pretty good indeed!
 
So, update on GSOF knife, it is in one piece, just finish work needed, the sheath is done, I did make a new one for it, figured under the circumstances, the situation deserved something with a little more artistic flair. Not gonna be long. Stay tuned.
 
Just a update again on this project. Again, thanks for everybody's patience. I got nailed with projects for Xmas. I spoke with Mike (GSOF) and he was more than cool about waiting a little. So, worked on it again last night and it only requires the final etch and edge. I will be very excited to get this in his hands and it will most likely be finished next time I work on it. Pics will be forthcoming very soon.
 
Good news, the knife is done, and it is beautiful. I will take and show pics unless Mike prefers to be the one to unveil it once he receives it?

Feel free to post some pics. That way I get to see what it looks like, too....and no one has to wait for me to get my shit together and take decent pics of my own. Totally looking forward to seeing it!

Here it is, nice curly maple with subtle pink liners, (in memory of Mikes sister) love how this one turned out, has a traditional look to it, but has meaning as well, congrads again Mike, and thanks for being patient. This one will be on the way to you very shortly.
