Winner Announunced --- TL-29 Give-Away

Not an entry, but I admire your generosity, and am honored to hang out in a place with so many people of high character.

I recently just won a Mora 711 in a general knife discussion giveaway, but I've never owned a tl29 and would love to try one out so I'm in.
Thanks for your generosity, I'm sure you could sell these knives you're giving away for something, but it probably wouldn't be a lot and the good feeling you get is worth more anyways 👍

This is not an entry, leghog, but rather a post of appreciation for your generosity. I've never seen such generosity in my life as I have here, and your back-to-back-to-back GAWs deserve massive praise. Thank you, leghog!

...And of course, additional praise has to be directed at our very own Mod Master, Glennbad, for offering his exceptional services gratis to the lucky recipient! Our winner would have to be the purist of purists to skip out on having Glenn work his magic on that TL29! Thank you, Glennbad!

Good luck to all entrants!

I'm in. I remember one of those sitting in my grandfather's tool box, so that would bring back some fond memories.

Not an entry, but I just wanted to say thanks for your generosity!

I truly love the generosity of the people on the porch. It warms my heart to see these random acts of knife kindness between, for the most part, strangers, or certainly people we will probably never meet in person. If it's not too bold of me, I'd also like to sweeten the pot and offer my mod services, free of charge, should the winner want a mod done to that knife, with any available materials I have on hand. Of course, the work would have to fall in line with my normal wait schedule.

If this is inappropriate, let me know and I will edit it out of my post.

Glenn
Glenn, that's class! Thanks. What a great way to enhance the gift for whoever wins.

Never had a TL 29. Would like to give one a try, so I'm in.
Thanks for the chance, and good luck to all the entrants.

How could I pass up on the chance. I am in.

I have never had or used an electricians knife. Plus, if Glennbad is offering...

Consider me in.

My wife's Grandfather was a Lineman during Patton's Push in WW2. I was among a very few in the family to actually hear some of his stories when he opened up one Christmas. Sadly he is no longer with us, but it would be cool to own a pocketknife similar to one he was issued.

I'm in! As an old Aviation Machinist's Mate, (USN) I used one of these on a regular basis and had one in my pocket during the final days of the Vietnam War. I would like to have another that I can carry as I did at USNAS Whidbey Island (Ault Field). We had the best food in the 13th fleet! Thanks for your generosity.

Anchors aweigh!

I'd be in for a shot at a TL-29

Thanks!

I've eyes the pattern at a knife store. There were a bunch, but all in rough shape, so I never grabbed one. No good knife stores near me at all, and never have I seen good old slip joints in my area.

Please count me in, I do not have a TL-29 and would love to add one to my collection! THANK YOU!

I wasn't going to enter until I saw Glenn had volunteered to mod the knife. Just can't turn down an opportunity like that. Someone will be very lucky! Thank you both for the chance!
