Hello friends. This is a GAW. If you clicked on the thread you must have some affection for the medium stockman and I’m giving away a nice example. (Or you jumped in here to tell me I didn’t need to start another stockman thread
)
Rules:
Open to all frequenters of the porch with 50 or more posts in the Traditional forum. I will ship internationally where permitted.
Probably goes without saying, but don’t turn around and sell it. That would not be nice.
Simply post ‘I’m in’. You may enter on behalf of a friend if you choose.
Pictures of Traditional knives are greatly appreciated because everyone likes to see them. Stockmans would be most appropriate!
I’ll let this run through the week but may end early if the thread slows down. I’ll give 24 hr notice if it’s ending early.
I’ll use one of those random number generators to pick a winner.
The gift:
A like-new-in-box vintage Schrade USA 834 medium stockman. I bought this as a backup for one of my favorite knives years ago. I’ve decided backups are not necessary for me, and I would like to pass it on for someone else to enjoy.
It’s in great shape. I see very minimal signs of age, zero signs of use, and I have not cleaned it. Just occasionally applied mineral oil. It’s a fine specimen for 40-50 years old.
Best of luck and thank you for stopping by.
