Winner selected, see post #75 Who else loves a medium stockman?

I'm in, thanks! There was a time, not that long ago, that when you said "pocket knife" all I could imagine was the stockman. I've expanded my knowledge and interests since then, but still consider it the quintessential pocket knife. And, I love the old USA Schrades.

Fantastic GAW! From my seat there is no better traditional pocketknife than a Medium Stockman (love Buck, Case, Schrade USA, Imperial USA, etc.) Not entering for myself because I have a couple (or three, or maybe more) already, BUT I'd like to enter for Rsmith_77 Rsmith_77 - he needs to experience carrying and using one. I am happy to post a few pictures of some of my Medium Stockman pocketknives. Thanks to the OP for his generosity in parting with a splendid pocketknife. OH

I like medium stockman knives very much!:cool::cool::thumbsup:
But I have a very serviceable 34OT, and the Schrade 834 you're so generously offering in this GAW seems like an upscale version of my 34OT, and I'm really not an upscale kind of guy! 🤓
But I'd like to enter on behalf of Will Power Will Power , if I may.

Here are some of my medium stockman knives.
This Uncle Henry 897UH is probably my ideal of what a medium stockman should be (thanks, Dean):

This Rough Rider seems to me to be obviously based on the Uncle Henry:

This Case CV chestnut jigged bone 63032 "belongs to" my favorite series of Case knives, but I'm not really a fan of square bolsters and this particular knife has more blade rub than I care for:

At least some Case dealers call the x347 pattern a "medium stockman", even though its closed length is 3 7/8". This is probably my favorite Case stockman.

I love the color and those threaded bolsters! Tell us more.
A few years ago, Case produced a series of patterns (maybe about 8 patterns?) with stainless steel blades, walnut Rogers jigged bone, and the quad-threaded bolsters. I thought they were fantastic, but by the time I thought I had the financial solvency to start buying them, they had already been discontinued and were very difficult to find. I managed to locate a NOS version of the 6347 at an online dealer in Oklahoma and got it as a Christmas present for myself in 2021.
(FWIW, I think Old Engineer Old Engineer had a complete set of those knives that he got from kids and grandkids, or something like that - very impressive!)
