Winners Announced: First Giveaway Of 2008: First Barlow

Well, New Year's Day has come and gone and with that we have chosen two winners to act as stewards for the two Barlows.

Here's hoping that augustus88's daughter, and Nukemb's nephew enjoy their first Barlow knives.

Please send the two youngsters my best and feel free to post pix of their (hopefully) smiling countenances along with the knives after you get 'em.

If you two gents would contact me via email (or pm, email preferred) with your info I'll try to have them out to you before the end of the week.

Thanks Kerry. Not a Hoosier myself but I've got a few friends there. (Even some old friends from Warsaw.)

You'll also be happy to know, Kerry, that one of these knives is in fact going to Indiana!

Congrats to the winners. Blues great contest I really like these contests for kids. As my own kids are brats and I have more than enough knives for them and a few others I didn't want to enter. I myself gave a kid this last year a knife and for me there is nothing better than putting a smile on a young kids face.

Ford,

I felt so good about finally getting down to my ideal weight that I got that new tattoo on my hip and had my wife take that picture of me. Got a couple of front and back shots as well that I'll rotate in as avatars. Wait until you see the one of me hiking a football to our dog, Brownose.
 
What a great way to start the year off....there's something about this site, especially the traditional forum. I throughly enjoy reading the wonderful stories and seeing folk's generosity come through time and time again. Great giveaway!
 
The knives are enroute so hopefully the youngsters should have 'em by Monday.
