I'm in on the Sodbuster.

Been reading about various Sodbuster manufacturers lately and trying to decide which one I'd like. I've been attracted to Case CV because I have a Case large pen in CV, but like the shape of the Country Cousin blade. Your blade reshaping is exactly what I had in mind.

Generous offer and would appreciate the chance.

I'm in for the puukko.
I have one, which is pictured here with another version of the all-purpose belt knife. I'm not sure what holds it together.

That's a very elegant rehandling you did on yours, and I'd be proud to dangle it on my belt.
Thanks for the GAW and good luck to all.

I'm in and thank you for the opportunity. I would be interested in the Puukko as I already have both a sod buster and sod buster jr. Pic below. I'd use the Puukko as a general outside carry knife. I live in the middle of nowhere and spend a great deal of time outdoors with my dogs and, of course, always have one or more knives on me. That would be the function of the Puukko if I were fortunate enough to win it. Very nice looking knife.

FLYER...Im in on the puuko thank you sir....i enjoyed the build, and a wonderful end result !...I would like it purely for aesthetical reasons...it would look cool on my belt .........................FES

Sorry, I don't really have time to add much at the moment, but I would love to get in on this. If nothing else I would say that both would get used on a regular basis, soddie in the edc rotation and puuko, probably mostly around the house/shop/yard. Probably in the kitchen or at the dinner table as often as anything else.

I have never owned a puuko and yours with your stag rehandle job looks fantastic!
I also like the modification you did on the sodbuster , it looks like the perfect squirrel skinner now!
I would be happy hunting with either knife at my side or pocket , so please count me as IN on your generous GAW , and best of luck to all who enter the drawing. thank you and best regards!

Oooo! A puuko! I'm in, that's exactly the sort of thing I want to own. Oh, but I'd like to sign in for the Sodbuster, as well. I've heard great things about Case, and it'd make an excellent gift for my brother's 13th birthday. It's sort of a big thing here. We're (my family) not religious at all, but according to Judaism (not government laws, just the religion itself), he'll officially be a man. It's a popular tradition nevertheless. I find it silly, but I digress. This isn't the place to discuss that. My point is, what a good 'coming of age' gift that would make!

Well, a little about myself. I've moved around the world quite a bit, and I've ended up in Israel (there is literally too much for me to tell you in this post. If you're interested, email me.) Being 18, but having a special reason to prolong it, I'll be entering my mandatory service next year instead of this one, after which, I'll work towards living in Scandinavia. I want to live in Iceland at some point in my life, and I'm fascinated by viking beliefs, the Norse mythology, and other aspects of their culture. I hope to work in the tourism industry there, eventually, and so that knife (the puuko, that is) would be great for tours into the wilderness. That, and I like carving whilst I hike. It's not the most specific answer, but then again, I'm new to knife collecting as a whole, and I just want to stop using my Buck 112 for carving. It's the only proper knife (I.E. not a Victorinox, of which I own two) I own, and well, it's taken THE worst beating. Most of the things I learned about what to do and what not to do with knives, was with that knife. Then I loaned it to someone, as mentioned in another forum post, and well, the tip is missing. Learned not to loan them to the uninitiated... or rather, those less initiated than me, but that's not important to the story.

I've learned quite a bit since then, and, long story short, I'd carve with it when I'm stressed, take it for hikes, and have it as an outdoor EDC when I live abroad. This whole post turned out quite random, and I apologize for that. Like I said, if anyone wants to know more about something, feel free to email me.

TL;DR Sign me up for both, please, and thank you so very much for the opportunity!

I'd be in for either. The Sodbuster would see more carry time, but that puukko is nicely done.

Not an entry, as there are plenty already in the thread who will give these the use they deserve (I don't get into the great outdoors nearly often enough to justify the puukko, and the svord peasant works just fine for cutting stuff around and about), but I had to leave a reply to compliment that puukko! It looks great in-hand and I bet whoever gets their hands on it will love using the heck out of it.

Duane, I have tried to resist the latest give-aways running at this moment, Gev's awesome one, T R's one bringing back so strongly memories of a Lovely fixed blade I used to own, and this Thread of yours - man - as per usual you did a fantastic job on that Puukko - mate that just looks awesome...
Can I put my hand upi to be in this give-away please for that great knife, that would be a fixed blade companion on my Hikes I am planning, we plan to get outdoors a lot this Summer - I have bought a neat pack, and building up supplies for it -my Girls and Beautiful LadY love buying me gear for my upcoming hikes, I went on a small one with my wee sweetie Tayla - my youngest - its funny isn't it - shes almost a full grown woman - and yet still my baby.

Good luck everyone, and Duane - thank you for this, and everything else you do here

I'm changing my mind. Duane, the Puukko is just too beautiful and I'm afraid I would just set it aside.

So, sign me up for the sodbuster instead.

Please count me in on the puukko, that is too nice to miss. A great hiking knife it would be, whoever it goes to will be fortunate indeed. Very generous of you, thanks!

Thanks for the chance! i already got a few sod busters, but i never had a puukko, and the puukko looks nice brother! Id love to use that thing in the woods! Thanks Again!

In on the puuko and thanks! It would replace the suncraft seki city knife that I gave away and would be my hiking blade!

Thanks, I'm in.

I'd use the Puukko for huntin', fightin' and fishin'. The buster would go in my pocket.

I'm in, too. Either would be a welcome addition, but I'm really sold on that Puukko. Thanks for letting me play.

Great puuko, and i remember the WIP
i'm in for sodbuster, you did nice job on that point

I am in for the puukko, thanks for the chance. Definite woodswalk knife for me. During the cold weather, I usually carry my small Hackman Tapio Wirkalla around my neck or in my coat pocket. The sheath finally fell apart this year, it's at Scott Gossman's shop with the big Hackman puukko, getting a sheath.

I am in on either of those knives.
I have neither i my working selection and can see the usefulness of both.
Thanks for the opportunity
