WINNERS PICKED! Post # 1k giveaway!

Congrats on 1000 posts! I just gave a 303 to a co-worker who used his keys to tear into packages, and now that I see him using it at work I realize that I want one. My favorite store bought beer is Saranac Pale Ale, it's what got me into craft beer and home brewing.

Thanks for the chance!

Thanks for the giveaway! I love craft beer in most of it's forms (though you can't try new breweries without having IPAs shoved down your throat :barf:) But time and again I keep going back to Guiness extra stout. It is just consistently good, and most places that don't have the greatest selection of craft beer still have extra stout, so I am not condemned to drinking bud light ;)

Not an entry, just a congrats on the 1k, as far as drink, cognac and tequila are my sippin' and shooter choices followed by rum and coke as my mixer.

Food? I'll try anything but faves are asian, mexican and western european.

Good luck to everyone else.

Along with Kölsch, I also like a Witbier for a crisp, refreshing beverage. This is what cooled me off after cleaning our screened porch in anticipation of dinner guests tonight (also made dinner prep a bit more enjoyable!):

Congrats on the 1K!

While I don't drink any more, when I did I had different moods for different beers. Overall favorite style is an Extra Special Bitters, there is a brew pub in the Poconos that filled an awful lot of growlers for me over the years. Summer time was Pilsner Urquell, winter time I liked stouts and Yuengling's Porter.

Thanks for the opportunity!

Cheers,
Griff

beer, you say? i like everything from miller high life to yuengling to rogue shakespeare stout to sierra nevada torpedo ipa to lion stout from sri lanka to becks to rasputin imperial stout to baltika no. 5 from russia to busch ice to peroni. lol
i tend to not like flavored or spiced beer (pumpkin beer seems popular right now), wheat beer or belgian ales. more for those that do!

Thanks for the chance! Favorite beer is any IPA, especially dark horse crooked tree. Thanks!

I've drank thousands of beers; there's no way I could pick a single one. But I am partial to pilsners. Here's a shot of one that I've never seen in the States with a little light snack. Beer is Trumer. Photo is from Salzberg last summer.

Yeah i'll bite, thanks for the opportunity!

I've never owned a buck 110
perhaps its a big of sin around these parts, but i never have

ironically never had a 303 either (although i DO have a 301) i almost got a 303 but when i went all over town (4 different local stores) i couldnt find a 303 without blade wobble/gaps etc etc and i did find a good 301..so that would be cool too

not much of a beer drinker, never have been really
although captain morgan and jack Daniel's did get me in a bit of trouble in my younger days ;)

favorite food, Lasagna! the homemade kind!

Congrats on the 1K Trev

Being Mexican I have to throw in some of our beers out there. For a hot day, Tekate Light with lime and salt. And a must try for beer enthusiasts is Bohemia, which happens to be from my hometown Monterrey.

Thanks for the chance.

Congrats on the 1000. Since I am not legally old enough to drink, my favorite food would have to be any type of pasta with tomato sauce. My girlfriend has an old recipe from either her grandmother or great-grandmother and man it is great! I could eat it for everymeal of everyday of the week.

This is not an entry.
I have several 303's and I have my old 1960's 110 in 440C which my folks gave me for my birthday when I was in my teens. Buck knives? I gots 'em.

But Beer runs in the family. My grandmother owned a brewery. That brew was a Pilsner style, which I enjoy on a hot afternoon, but is not my favorite style of beer. I like dark, flavorful ales.

Best beer I every had was a Scotch ale called Claymore. Lovely stuff, brewed in Denver Co of all places. Ran into a sixpack of it in my local store and loved the stuff.

Right up there with it is a nice English bitter I had in England, Batham's Best Bitter. ("WHAT is THAT?" "THIS is a PINT." "It comes in PINTS?". and points, not pints if you recognize the quotes.)

My standard favorite which I can always get locally is , um, er, Gary will ding me for this, ummm, oh well, Stone Arrogant Bastard Ale. Hey I just buy the stuff, I did not name it. A bit hoppy, but very full flavored. Never disappointed with it.

Thanks for the chance at the stockman. I love my sister-in-laws lasagna! One of the best birthday presents I get now.
