I'm in. Thanks for the Chance!!!
Favorite Team: Mississippi State Bulldogs. (read below for a sad but very true story about me and how I root for my favorite team)
My family and I have been MSU fans since I was a little kid. I even had the chance to attend State but passed it up to remain close to a girl who, dumped me later to attend Alabama University. Sad and true but that's not the story, just an additional one. Here is the sad one. I have never seen MSU win a game. Not in the 35 so odd years I have been a fan. Every game I attended, watched on TV or listen to on the radio, or even (now) follow on the internet (play by play) they have lost. It has become such a thing in family that if the "Dawgs" are losing my Mom would call me to find out if I was watching, listening or following the game at some point. All the members of my family are die hard fans so if they were doing horrible it was because I was at some point a contributing factor in their bad play. So, every winning season, every bowl game they win, you can bet I never watched a single second of. So, yeah.....I love the Dawgs, so I never follow them because I want them to do well.
One more: Even though I cannot watch them play I have become a pretty good predictor for there winning seasons. Case in point: In that time they switched to the white helmets, I told the family that it didn't matter if I watched them play or not because they would never do well with the white. I pointed that out the beginning of the first season they started wearing the white helmets and my family didn't believe me. I still didn't watch and they did so bad it was embarrassing. However since they switched back to the Maroon helmets they have done pretty well. Another predictor: While I was deployed to Astan they had the best season they every had playing.....yeah I know, sad sad sad.
Favorite Pro Team: Seattle. I watched as much of them as I could this past season and they won the Super Bowl, so my curse, it seems, only extends to the Dawgs.
