Please post completed knives in this thread to make it easy for me to keep track of the submissions. When you submit your knife, send me your name and address either as a PM, or e-mail at wjkrywko at gmail dot com. If I don’t get an address, I won’t include your entry. You must post a picture of the completed knife.

I still have your info.

Warren

I hope the round knife helps the sheath go smoothly.

Didnt get around to it tonight but im gonna sharpen it and cut some leather tomorrow. The top of the handle was challenging to grind without nicking the corners of the rounding knife

They’re a challenge for sure! Way cheaper to let you fiddle with it than have me fiddle with it. They’re time consuming to build.

I think I screwed up and posted my complete knife in the KITH thread in the stickies... but here it is again, I got away from Photo*&^&bucket and went to Imgur, so that took a few days to straighten out also. This what I call my large drop point hunter--the steel is heat treated by a local tool and die shop, and at 58-59 RC it's been a great performer for me.

It's a D-2, that Rockewelled out at 58 and a skosh, and it has Acacia wood handles, hardest wood I've fooled with in a while--harder than any Acacia I've had before. I hope whoever gets my entry doesn't puke over the sheath--I'm just not a good leatherworking guy....

That’s a great package for your first kith. Looks good. Leather work is much easier with thin sharp tools.

Thanks again. There are some imperfections but just in and around the scales. The spacers are off about 1/32 from aligned side to side. First time trying bolsters with a liner and spacer. Have a much better method of doing it now. Couldn't afford to start over for that small of an imperfection and was all the composite material I have.
