Bamph, I need to get a sheath making class from you!! do you have a leather sewing machine? Your stitching looks perfect! And your knife is nice as well man!!
 
Just a quick note. I’ll get the draw done as soon as I can today. The mid February rush in mental health seems to have come a couple weeks early this year. Good for my real job, bad for knifemaking. Check back in a few hours.
 
Ok, most of you will have your shipping information now. There are a couple people who need to confirm their addresses, and I will finish the notifications when I get the information. I went ahead and did the draw as the missing addresses are from people with solid reputations here, and I will personally fill in a knife if needed (very unlikely.)

The entries this year are great with good variety of designs. I’m going to sharpen the knife I made now, and get it posted ASAP. I’m breaking my own rules.

@stacy, we can remove the sticky on the original thread. No use keeping it up at this point.

I’m starting a new thread for pics of the knives as they arrive.

Since many newer makers want to get feedback, please include your e-mail address or phone number with your knife. Let the recipient know how you would like feedback.

Please provide a description of materials used, and relevant data like Rc#’s, steel type etc. if you have them. Let us know any challenges you had, or share techniques if you want to.

Edit: All shipping info has been provided, except JoshRG. If anyone doesn’t have their recipient’s info, let me know.

Here’s my submission.
1/16” 15n20, Rc62/63, ffg to 0.002-3”.
I haven’t sharpened it as I dropped it against the granite countertop today, and got a small deformation on the edge. I’ll fix it tomorrow, when I’m not so fatigued.
Black g-10 bolster with black linnen micarta handle, brass pin.

Should go in the mail tomorrow afternoon.

Thanks for your kind words! It was hand stitched. Google Leodis Leather. He has a basic intro video to hand stitching that is really good. He also has a couple of sheath making videos that have excellent info in them too.

Carbon fiber with brass and paper liners.
Scotchbrite finish.

This was a really fun Kith for me this year, other than being so pressed for time at the end. Great submissions all around, and great support.
